Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Carbon nanomembranes with ultra‐thin Al2O3 functionalization are less than 15 nm thin and exhibit outstanding permeation performance with a water vapor/nitrogen selectivity higher than 1 × 104, twice that of pristine CNMs, and an exceptionally high water vapor permeation rate for potential applications in air dehumidification.

Bose-Einstein Condensation of Atomic Hydrogen [PDF]
arXiv, 1999 This thesis describes the observation and study of Bose-Einstein condensation of a trapped, dilute gas of atomic hydrogen. The condensate and normal gas are studied by two-photon spectroscopy of the 1S-2S transition. We condense over 10^9 atoms per second for several seconds, and the peak condensate density is around 5x10^15 cm^-3.

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

The pillar‐shaped micro actuators consist of a soft and flexible surface‐attached cell‐repellent hydrogel layer at the bottom, acting as a hinge and a cell‐adhesive hydrophobic polymer filled with magnetic nanoparticles.
