Under the influence of an electron beam, the photoluminescence (PL) and quantum sensing stability of nitrogen‐vacancy (NV) centers in fluorescent nanodiamonds (FNDs) change. This work elucidates structural and functional changes induced by the electron beam in FNDs and identifies imaging conditions to preserve NV properties and offers a pathway for top‐

Local Structure–Luminescence Correlation in Eu3+‐Doped Phosphors: A Comprehensive Review
This review discusses the correlation between local structure and the luminescent properties of Eu3+ ions, and also summarizes analytical methods for determining Eu3+ site occupancy. The luminescence properties of the phosphors are determined by the electronic configuration of the activator ions and are also affected by the coordinated environment of ...

N‐Containing Carbon Materials in Metal‐Free and Non‐Noble Metal Liquid Phase Heterogenous Catalysis
Over 100 examples of non‐noble metal supported on N‐containing and metal‐free N‐containing carbon catalysts are discussed. Particular emphasis is put on how different N‐functionalities influence catalyst performance and stability. Preparation procedures are also examined, with a strong focus on how the heat treatment temperature influences N ...
