Hydrate Formation in Condensate and Mineral Oil Systems
OTC Brasil, 2015Hydrate management, as opposed to avoidance, means allowing hydrates to form, but minimizing the risk of blockage formation, such that hydrates are transported with the production fluids. This strategy is starting to be a more viable approach in industry as a means to lower development and operational costs.

Development of Oil and Gas Condensate Fields
Scientific Journals MonograghsIn the world, with the development of science, brand new technologies are being created to generate energy resources (e.g., hydrogen energy, electric car, etc.). These inventions will reduce the consumption and cost of hydrocarbon resources. This leaves oil and gas resource producers with only one option – accelerated development of oil and gas fields ...

Mercaptans from Gas Condensates and Crude Oils
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils, 2002Industrial separation schemes are described, and promising areas of application of mercaptans from gas condensate and kerosene distillates of medium‐sulfur crude oils are noted. The fields of mercaptan‐containing gas condensates and crude oils in regions confined to the Caspian Sea basin opened up with the development of deep drilling technology.

Condensation Effect in Determining Gas-oil Ratio
Transactions of the AIME, 1930In a recent paper on the intermittent injection of gas in gas-liftoperations as opposed to continuous injection, Morgan Walker presented acomparative table showing the effect on oil and gas production from the samewells under the two methods of operation.

Pumping Fluid Condensation in Oil Diffusion Pumps
Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, 1972Condensation conditions of the motive fluid in an oil diffusion pump are considered with particular attention to the backstreaming problem. The backstreaming rate is correlated with the temperature of the “cold caps” surrounding the pump nozzle and it is demonstrated that an upper temperature limit exists near 200 °F where such devices cease to ...
