A Simple Algorithm for Prime Factorization and Primality Testing

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
We propose a new simple and faster algorithm to factor numbers based on the nature of the prime numbers contained in such composite numbers. It is well known that every composite number has a unique representation as a product of prime numbers.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Integration of fuzzy logic and geographic weighted regression modeling for enhanced groundwater potential mapping using remote sensing and GIS

open access: yesEnvironmental Sciences Europe
Groundwater resource management is critical in regions with limited surface water availability. Traditional mapping methods often face challenges in addressing spatial heterogeneity and data uncertainties, creating a need for more advanced approaches ...

Necessary and sufficient conditions under which convergence follows from summability by weighted means

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2001
We prove necessary and sufficient Tauberian conditions for sequences summable by weighted mean methods. The main results of this paper apply to all weighted mean methods and unify the results known in the literature for particular methods.

Gordon's inequality and condition numbers in conic optimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The probabilistic analysis of condition numbers has traditionally been approached from different angles; one is based on Smale's program in complexity theory and features integral geometry, while the other is motivated by geometric functional analysis ...

Condition Numbers of Gaussian Random Matrices [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, 2005
Let $G_{m \times n}$ be an $m \times n$ real random matrix whose elements are independent and identically distributed standard normal random variables, and let $ _2(G_{m \times n})$ be the 2-norm condition number of $G_{m \times n}$. We prove that, for any $m \geq 2$, $n \geq 2$ and $x \geq |n-m|+1$, $ _2(G_{m \times n})$ satisfies $ \frac{1}{\sqrt{2

Why and When Are Evidence‐Based Interventions Adopted in Paediatric Supportive Care? A Qualitative Exploration of the Determinants of Photobiomodulation Implementation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...

Evaluation of dispersion behaviour of horizontal water jet by using flow visualization method

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2020
This paper presents a detailed experimental study on the dispersion behaviour of a horizontal water jet with atomization. The study mainly focuses on flow structure of the water jet such as a spread angle and a flying distance.

An approach on stability analysis of cable-driven parallel robots considering cable mass

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
This paper presents an approach on stability analysis of cable-driven parallel robots (CDPRs) considering cable mass based on cable tensions and stiffness matrix condition numbers. A cable model is introduced considering the effect of cable mass.

Dexamethasone for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Prevention in Pediatric Patients: International Consensus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An international Delphi panel of experts developed consensus statements to delineate the circumstances where the risks of dexamethasone as an antiemetic do and do not outweigh its benefits. Procedure Experts in supportive care of pediatric patients were invited to participate.
