Single‐Cell and Spatial Omics: Methods and Applications
Systematically summarized the breakthrough sequencing technologies and computational methods for single‐cell and spatial omics across multiple omics layers, including genome, epigenome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome. State‐of‐the‐art methods for multi‐omics integration, cross‐modal integration, and cross‐scale integration were reviewed, with ...

Polanyi on crisis: The United States, fascism and ecological break‐down
Abstract This article uses Karl Polanyi's understanding of the crisis inherent in liberal economics to analyse a contemporary crisis—Trump's global tariff agenda. It argues that Trump's tariff agenda conforms to Polanyi's interpretation of how the crisis of liberal economics can disintegrate into more malignant forces.

Nonparametric tests of conditional treatment effects [PDF]
We develop a general class of nonparametric tests for treatment effects conditional on covariates. We consider a wide spectrum of null and alternative hypotheses regarding conditional treatment effects, including (i) the null hypothesis of the ...

Conditional density estimation with class probability estimators [PDF]
Many regression schemes deliver a point estimate only, but often it is useful or even essential to quantify the uncertainty inherent in a prediction. If a conditional density estimate is available, then prediction intervals can be derived from it.

When should firms watch for cross‐industry competition? A demand‐side perspective
Abstract Research Summary Research on competitor identification has primarily focused on intra‐industry competition. However, cross‐industry competitive threats are prevalent and consequential. We adopt a consumer‐oriented perspective to examine how consumer perceptions shape de facto competition across industry boundaries.

Racing algorithms for conditional independence inference [PDF]
In this article, we consider the computational aspects of deciding whether a conditional independence statement t is implied by a list of conditional independence statements L using the independence implication provided by the method of structural imsets.
