This study demonstrates that operant conditioning may increase the P300 component of the event-related potential above a level obtained without contingent training. An experimental group of subjects was rewarded for producing large P300 amplitudes and was compared with a yoked control group which was rewarded on a random basis.

On the dynamics of operant conditioning
Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1971Abstract Simple psychological postulates are presented which are used to derive possible anatomical and physiological substrates of operant conditioning. These substrates are compatible with much psychological data about operants. A main theme is that aspects of operant and respondent conditioning share a single learning process.

A conditional operator for CCS
1991This paper investigates an extension of Milner's CCS with a conditional operator called unless [Cam90]. The agent \(\mathcal{K} \triangleright E\), pronounced E unless \(\mathcal{K}\), behaves as E unless the environment is ready to perform any action in the set \(\mathcal{K}\).

The construction of conditional events (so-called measure-free conditioning) has a long history and is one of the fundamental problems in non-deterministic system theory (cf. [6]). In particular, the iteration of measure-free conditioning is still an open problem. The present paper tries to make a contribution to this question.
