In this paper, we consider first-order neutral differential equations with a parameter and impulse in the form of $$displaylines{ frac{d}{dt}[x(t)-c x(t-gamma)]=-a(t)g(x(h_1(t)))x(t)+lambda b(t) fig(x(h_2(t))ig),quad t eq t_j;cr Delta ig[x(t)-c x(t ...

ABSTRACT Microneedle arrays (MNAs) is a rapidly emerging technology with broad biomedical applications in drug delivery and biosensing. With sub‐millimeter dimensions and periodicity, MNAs possess geometries nearly ideal for biomedical devices operating within the terahertz (THz) spectral window.

In this article, we consider the following boundary-value problem of nonlinear fractional differential equation with $p$-Laplacian operator $$displaylines{ D_{0+}^eta(phi_p(D_{0+}^alpha u(t)))+a(t)f(u)=0, quad 0<t<1, cr u(0)=gamma u(xi)+lambda,

Rod–cone interactions and the temporal impulse response of the cone pathway
Dark-adapted rods suppress cone-mediated flicker detection. This study evaluates the effect that rod activity has on cone temporal processing by investigating whether rod mediated suppression changes the cone pathway impulse response function, regardless

Existence of positive periodic solutions for neutral functional differential equations
We find sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions of two kinds of neutral differential equations. Using Krasnoselskii's fixed-point theorem in cones, we obtain results that extend and improve previous results.

Associating a red‐NIR phosphorescent octahedral hexanuclear molybdenum cluster compound with hexaethyleneoxide chains bearing mesogenic units on both ends leads to an emissive hybrid liquid crystal showing mesomorphism on a very unusual temperature range down to −25°C.

In this article, we show the existence of three positive symmetric solutions for the integral boundary-value problem with $\phi$-Laplacian $$\displaylines{ (\phi(u'(t)))'+f(t,u(t),u'(t))=0,\quad t\in[0,1],\cr u(0)=u(1)=\int_0^1u(r)g(r)\,dr ...
