AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Existence of solutions for a coupled quasilinear system on time scales

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
In this work we study a quasilinear system of equations on time scales. Using the Krasnoselskii fixed-point theorem, sufficient conditions are given for the existence of positive solutions.

A Mechanistic Study of Bio‐Based Nanotemplated Carbon Nanofibers Derived From Water Processable Lignin Blends for Sustainable Energy Storage Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
As‐spun carbon materials produced from Lignosulfonate, gelatin, and alginate, selected for water solubility, and ability to produce templated sustainable carbon nanostructures. Gelatin and alginate are sacrificial during thermal processing, allowing the production of engineered high surface area nanostructures, which are further characterized for ...

Loss Cone Region in Toroidal Helical Systems

open access: yes, 1990
Analytic formula is derived for the loss cone in the toroidal helical systems. Particular emphasis is put on the loss region for the particles which are barely trapped in the helical ripples.

Positive solutions for the beam equation under certain boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2005
We consider a boundary-value problem for the beam equation, in which the boundary conditions mean that the beam is embedded at one end and fastened with a sliding clamp at the other end.

Advances in Magnesium‐Based Thermoelectrics: A Critical Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnesium‐based thermoelectric materials have emerged as promising candidates for low‐to‐mid‐temperature energy conversion due to their abundance, low cost, and competitive performance. This review summarizes recent advances in Mg3X2, MgAgSb, and Mg2X systems, covering transport mechanisms, fabrication strategies, stability challenges, and device ...

The Gross-Neveu Model on the Light Cone

open access: yes, 1994
We consider the (massive) Gross-Neveu model using the light cone quantization where we solve the constraints explicitly. We show that the vacuum is trivial and that the quantization fails when m = 0.

Existence of positive solutions for nonlinear systems of second-order differential equations with integral boundary conditions on an infinite interval in Banach spaces

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2011
The article shows the existence of positive solutions for systems of nonlinear singular differential equations with integral boundary conditions on an infinite interval in Banach spaces.
