Accuracy-configurable approximate multiplier with error detection and correction
TENCON 2015 - 2015 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2015Real-time multimedia applications which demand very low decoding delays are increasing day-by-day. To address this challenge, in error-resilient applications, many approximate computing architectures for delay critical units have been proposed. In this paper, we propose an architecture for an approximate multiplier, accuracy of which can be configured ...

Accuracy of energy extrapolation in multireference configuration interaction calculations
Theoretica Chimica Acta, 1981The accuracy of extrapolation procedures in conjunction with energy-based configuration selection in CI calculations is examined. The normally high accuracy of such extrapolation can deteriorate in multireference CI calculations when configuration functions of low weight are included in the root (reference) set.

Optimal configuration of multi-sensor based on positioning accuracy
2014 International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Information Integration for Intelligent Systems (MFI), 2014Existing methods for optimal configuration of multi-sensor suited for two dimension only or use numerical simulation to search optimal configuration, only sub-optimum solution can be realized. Based on evaluation index of Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB) of positioning, an universal method to obtain analytic solutions for optimal configuration is proposed.

An Error Corrector for Dynamically Accuracy-Configurable Approximate Adder
2018 Sixth International Symposium on Computing and Networking Workshops (CANDARW), 2018To reduce power consumption, approximate computing is an efficient approach for error-tolerant applications such as image processing. Approximate arithmetic adders can be used for the approximate computing, and can trade off accuracy for power. CMA, a dynamically accuracy-configurable approximate adder, had been proposed.

Marginal accuracy of three implant-ceramic abutment configurations.
The International journal of oral & maxillofacial implants, 2012Microgaps at the implant-abutment interface allow for microbial colonization, which can lead to peri-implant tissue inflammation. This study sought to determine the marginal accuracy of three different implant-zirconium oxide (zirconia) abutment configurations and one implant?titanium abutment configuration.Three combinations of implants with custom ...

The influence of different LocataNet configurations on positioning accuracy
2017GNSS has limitations or cannot be applied in specific environments with poor geometry likecity streets, tunnels, bridges, quarries, mines, ports or in indoor environment in general. In 2003Locata Corporation from Australia began with the development of a new, completelyindependent technology called Locata, which was designed to overcome the limitations

General Relativity Accuracy Test (GReAT): New configuration for the differential accelerometer
Advances in Space Research, 2011We presents the results of an activity concerning the test of the Einstein Weak Equivalence Principle with an accuracy of about 5 x 10^-15. The experiment will be performed in an "Einstein elevator" using a differential accelerometer with a final sensitivity of about 10^-14 g/Hz^1/2.

Accuracy doubling in the determination of final ray configurations
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 1989It is proposed that the extremal property of a trajectory be exploited to accelerate the analysis of systems governed by an extremum principle (e.g., Fermat’s principle). Given any procedure that is able to determine trajectories through such a system to a specific accuracy, a prescription is derived that allows the endpoints of these trajectories to ...
