An efficient algorithm for Lindner’s test (configural frequency analysis)
Quality & Quantity, 2011Lindner’s (Psychologische Beitrage 26:393–415, 1984) test is a generalisation of Fisher’s exact test for 2 × 2 contingency tables to 2k contingency tables (configural frequency analysis). It has been deemed to be impractical for large numbers of parameters and large marginal sums.

[Detection of meta-syndromes in configuration frequency analysis].
Zeitschrift fur klinische Psychologie, Psychopathologie und Psychotherapie, 1993Metasyndromes are defined as combinations of two or more single syndromes. A statistical method for ascertaining their existence on the basis of observational data is given. This is an improvement over another technique previously presented in this journal.
