Configurations and graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 1993
The author gives a short survey on some relations between graphs and configurations. In particular, the analogy between configurations and regular bipartite graphs and certain graph-theoretic problems related to configurations are discussed.

Brauer configuration algebras: A generalization of Brauer graph algebras

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper we introduce a generalization of a Brauer graph algebra which we call a Brauer configuration algebra. As with Brauer graphs and Brauer graph algebras, to each Brauer configuration, there is an associated Brauer configuration algebra.

Graph configuration model based evaluation of the education-occupation match.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
To study education-occupation matchings we developed a bipartite network model of education to work transition and a graph configuration model based metric. We studied the career paths of 15 thousand Hungarian students based on the integrated database of

Probabilistic regular graphs [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2010
Deterministic graph grammars generate regular graphs, that form a structural extension of configuration graphs of pushdown systems. In this paper, we study a probabilistic extension of regular graphs obtained by labelling the terminal arcs of the graph ...

Configuration Spaces of Colored Graphs

open access: yesGeometriae Dedicata, 2002
This paper is intended to provide concrete examples of concepts discussed elsewhere in this volume, especially splittings of groups and non-positively curved cube complexes but also other things. The idea of the construction (configuration spaces) is not new, but this family of examples doesn't seem to be well-known.

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

ADAPTABLE DYNAMIC ROUTING SYSTEM IN URBAN TRANSPORT LOGISTICS PROBLEMS USING GIS DATA [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Journal of Silesian University of Technology. Series Transport
To solve the problems of online route optimization in urban transport logistics, an adaptive dynamic routing system based on GIS data is proposed. Here, it is possible to simultaneously take into account the actual configuration of the urban road network

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Research on aircraft configuration management methods for frequent configuration changes

open access: yesHangkong gongcheng jinzhan
Frequent configuration changes during aircraft development process increase the difficulty and challenge of configuration management. In this paper, an aircraft configuration management method for frequent configuration changes is proposed.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
