PBDW State Estimation: Noisy Observations; Configuration-Adaptive Background Spaces; Physical Interpretations

open access: yesESAIM: Proceedings and Surveys, 2015
We provide extended analyses and interpretations of the parametrized-background data-weak (PBDW) formulation, a real-time in situ data assimilation framework for physical systems modeled by parametrized partial differential equations.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Spatial Configuration and Social Integration in the Residential Area of Benteng Keraton Buton

open access: yesRUAS
The complexity of settlements is shaped by the diversity of user activities and the intensity of social interactions, both of which are influenced by accessibility and spatial configuration. Connectivity systems play a crucial role in linking shared

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Massive Graviton from Diffeomorphism Invariance

open access: yesUniverse
In this work, we undertake a comprehensive study of the functional measure of gravitational path integrals within a general framework involving non-trivial configuration spaces.

Esquisse d’une évaluation délibérative et apprenante pour penser autrement l’alternance en formation

open access: yesDistances et Médiations des Savoirs, 2018
The ambition of alternation as an organizational and pedagogical configuration is closely linked to the question of time. However, no alternation model, no didactic-pedagogical configuration expressing the alternation project, seems to be unanimous among

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Configuration Spaces of Colored Graphs

open access: yesGeometriae Dedicata, 2002
This paper is intended to provide concrete examples of concepts discussed elsewhere in this volume, especially splittings of groups and non-positively curved cube complexes but also other things. The idea of the construction (configuration spaces) is not new, but this family of examples doesn't seem to be well-known.
