A remarkable DG-module model for configuration spaces
Let M be a simply-connected closed manifold and consider the (ordered) configuration space of $k$ points in M, F(M,k). In this paper we construct a commutative differential graded algebra which is a potential candidate for a model of the rational ...

Mod p truncated configuration spaces
The author studies the space \(E^{d}_{J}(X)\) of configurations of ordered \(n\)-tuples of unordered \(d\)-tuples of points in \(X\). The n-tuples satisfy a set of intersection conditions specified by \(J\). For example one result asserts the natural homotopy equivalence of \(\lim_{d\to \infty}E^{d}_{J}(\mathbb{R}^k)\) and \(\Omega_{0}^{k}\bigcup_{d ...

Wasserstein Distance on Configuration Space [PDF]
We investigate here the optimal transportation problem on configuration space for the quadratic cost. It is shown that, as usual, provided that the corresponding Wasserstein is finite, there exists one unique optimal measure and that this measure is supported by the graph of the derivative (in the sense of the Malliavin calculus) of a ``concave'' (in a

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Subdivisional spaces and graph braid groups [PDF]
We study the problem of computing the homology of the configuration spaces of a finite cell complex $X$. We proceed by viewing $X$, together with its subdivisions, as a subdivisional space--a kind of diagram object in a category of cell complexes.

Quantum phase-space representation for curved configuration spaces
We extend the Wigner-Weyl-Moyal phase-space formulation of quantum mechanics to general curved configuration spaces. The underlying phase space is based on the chosen coordinates of the manifold and their canonically conjugate momenta.

Scattering configuration spaces
For a compact manifold with boundary $X$ we introduce the $n$-fold scattering stretched product $X^n_{\text{sc}}$ which is a compact manifold with corners for each $n,$ coinciding with the previously known cases for $n=2,3.$ It is constructed by iterated blow up of boundary faces and boundary faces of multi-diagonals in $X^n.$ The resulting space is ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
