MATRIX-MODEL DUALITIES FROM CONFORMAL FIELD THEORY
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2005Using the large- N conformal invariant collective field formulation, of the dual matrix model, a strong-weak coupling duality is displayed in terms of the generators of the conformal group. In the large- N limit, the real-symmetric matrix model is dual to the quaternionic-real matrix model and the hermitian matrix model is self-dual.

Conformal transformation matrix for fields
Annals of Physics, 1973Abstract It is shown that the generic conformal transformation matrix for Lorentz-covariant fields is given explicitly by the form S 0 ( a , x ) = exp[ f ( a , x ) a μ x ν M μν ], where M μν denotes the matrix generators of the SL (2, C) representation associated with Lorentz transformations and f ( a , x ) is a universal ...

Conformal matrix factorization based recommender system
Information Sciences, 2018Abstract Recommender systems can be viewed as prediction systems wherein one can predict the rating a user would give to a particular item. Typically, items having the highest predicted ratings will be recommended to the user. Matrix Factorization techniques are the most widely used methods in predicting the missing ratings of a user-item rating ...

Structural Conformation of Polytetrafluoroethylene Composite Matrix
Chemistry & Chemical Technology, 2016Enhancement of physical and mechanical properties and structuring activity of polytetrafluoroethylene as matrix of composites by means of mechanical activation is shown. Operating modes of mechanical activation equipment are defined, in which the service properties of PTFE are maximized.

STRUCTURED MATRIX PERTURBATIONS FOR MOLECULAR CONFORMATIONS
Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering 2003, 2003Three-dimensional molecular structure is fundamental in drug design and discovery, docking, and chemical function identification. The input to our algorithm consists of a set of approximate interatomic distances or distances constrained in intervals of varying precision; some are specified by the covalent structure and others by NMR experiments and ...

Generating Conformational Transitions Using the Euclidean Distance Matrix
IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience, 2015Elastic network interpolation (ENI) is an efficient method for generating intermediate conformations between two end protein conformations. Its current formulation uses interatomic distance. We show how this can be generalized to interatomic distances-squared.

Conformational composition of 1-butanol in matrix isolation
Low Temperature Physics, 2021IR absorption spectra of 1-butanol isolated in an argon matrix were obtained at temperatures from 10 to 50 K. The conformational behavior of 1-butanol was analyzed using the results of quantum-chemical simulation of the structure and vibrational spectra of its small clusters.

Conformational analysis by matrix photoselection
Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1982Partial photolysis with plane-polarized light of phenyl azide in N2 matrices at 12 K yields samples with dichroic i.r. spectra, analysis of which excludes C2v and bisected-Cs geometries for phenyl azide, and suggests a planar-Cs or nearly planar conformation.

Simplified B-matrix for polymers in irregular conformation
Journal of Physics C: Solid State Physics, 1974The field of conformational defects in polymers is made accessible to Lifshitz's Green-function method. By introducing local coordinate frames, a fictitious polymer chain is constructed which has the irregular conformation of the real chain but, at the same time, the phonon spectrum of the regular chain, and is described by a dynamical matrix which ...
