Newton’s law of cooling with fractional conformable derivative
The fractional conformable derivative and its properties have been introduced recently. Using this derivative we obtain a new class of smooth solutions for the Newton’s law of cooling in terms of a stretched exponential function depending on the fractional order parameter 0 < γ ≤ 1.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Stress Tensor and Bulk Viscosity in Relativistic Nuclear Collisions [PDF]
We discuss the influence of different initial conditions for the stress tensor and the effect of bulk viscosity on the expansion and cooling of the fireball created in relativistic heavy-ion collisions.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Finite Element Thermal Analysis of Conformal Cooling Channels in Injection Moulding [PDF]
The process cycle time in injection moulding process depends greatly on the cooling time of the plastic part, which is facilitated by the cooling channels in the injection mould.

Some Cosmological Implications of Hidden Sectors [PDF]
We discuss some cosmological implications of extensions of the Standard Model with hidden sector scalars coupled to the Higgs boson. We put special emphasis on the conformal case, in which the electroweak symmetry is broken radiatively with a Higgs mass ...

SmallTalk: a novel small‐sized fusion tag for peptide expression and purification
The SmallTalk fusion tag allows for the efficient expression and purification of soluble recombinant proteins or peptides in Escherichia coli. Testing with SmallTalk‐GFP confirmed that the proteins were soluble and folded correctly, while SmallTalk‐Bin1b maintained its antimicrobial activity against various bacterial isolates. This streamlined workflow
