Modifying Glucose Metabolism Reverses Memory Defects of Alzheimer's Disease Model at Late Stages
Using spatial transcriptomics, we show that ferul enanthate (SL‐ZF‐01) reverses episodic‐like memory deficits in aged, but not young, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) mice. SL restores glucose metabolism and Glucose Transporter 1/3 expression via an ‘Aging‐AD‐Rescue’ pattern, rescuing deficits seen in aged AD mice.

Black holes and (0,4) SCFTs from type IIB on K3
We study the central charges and levels of 2d N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = (0, 4) superconformal field theories that are dual to four- and five-dimensional BPS black holes in compactifications of type IIB string theory on a K3 surface.

A worldsheet description of instant folded strings
Time-like linear dilaton backgrounds admit a classical solution that describes a closed folded string that is created at an instant. We refer to such strings as Instant Folded Strings (IFS).

D-branes in T-fold conformal field theory
We investigate boundary dynamics of orbifold conformal field theory involving T-duality twists. Such models typically appear in contexts of non-geometric string compactifications that are called monodrofolds or T-folds in recent literature.

Symmetric Subgroups of Gauged Supergravities and AdS String Theory Vertex Operators [PDF]
We show how the gauge symmetry representations of the massless particle content of gauged supergravities that arise in the AdS/CFT correspondences can be derived from symmetric subgroups to be carried by string theory vertex operators in these ...

Wedelolactone (WED), a natural TLR2 agonist, promotes neutrophil differentiation and enhances bactericidal function, offering a potential therapeutic strategy for neutropenia. Using a multi‐omics approach, this study reveals that WED activates the TLR2/MEK/ERK pathway, upregulating key transcription factors (PU.1, CEBPβ) to drive neutrophil development.

On the gl(1|1) Wess-Zumino-Witten model
We continue the study of the gl(1|1) Wess-Zumino-Witten model. The Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations for the one, two, three and four point functions are analyzed, for vertex operators corresponding to typical and projective representations.

From N=2 strings to F&M theory [PDF]
Taking the N=2 strings as the starting point, we discuss the equivalent self-dual field theories and analyse their symmetry structure in 2+2 dimensions. Restoring the full `Lorentz' invariance in the target space necessarily leads to an extension of the ...

A Self‐Organized Liquid Reaction Container for Cellular Memory
How cells restore epigenetic information lost during replication is not known. This work proposes a mechanism based on the formation of biomolecular condensates. These condensates are induced by the chromosome itself and serve as reaction vessels for reconstructing missing epigenetic markers.

Holographic correlators in AdS3
We derive the four-point correlators of scalar operators of dimension one in the supergravity limit of the D1D5 CFT holographically dual to string theory on AdS3×S 3×ℳ, with ℳ either T 4 or K3.
