Localized quench in 1+1 conformal field theory
We study the boundary dual of AdS3 spacetime with a point particle. Particles in AdS3 generate topological defects, which allows to formulate the geodesic image method for boundary correlators.

Open strings, 2D gravity and AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
We present a detailed discussion of the duality between dilaton gravity on AdS_2 and open strings. The correspondence between the two theories is established using their symmetries and field theoretical, thermodynamic, and statistical arguments.

Entanglement entropy in conformal quantum mechanics
We consider sets of states in conformal quantum mechanics associated to generators of time evolution whose orbits cover different regions of the time domain.

Developing process parameters for the laser‐based Powder Bed Fusion of metals can be a tedious task. Based on melt pool depth, the process parameters are transferable to different laser scan speeds. For this, understanding the melt pool scaling behavior is essential, particularly for materials with high thermal diffusivity, as a change in scaling ...

Five-dimensional non-Lorentzian conformal field theories and their relation to six-dimensions
We study correlation functions in five-dimensional non-Lorentzian theories with an SU(1, 3) conformal symmetry. Examples of such theories have recently been obtained as Ω-deformed Yang-Mills Lagrangians arising from a null reduction of six-dimensional ...

Locality and anomalies in warped conformal field theory [PDF]
A bstractWe study various aspects of warped conformal field theories (WCFTs) in two dimensions. We find new Lagrangian WCFTs, and show that all known Lagrangian WCFTs are local only after an infinite tuning.

Boundary Conformal Field Theory [PDF]
Boundary conformal field theory (BCFT) is simply the study of conformal field theory (CFT) in domains with a boundary. It gains its significance because, in some ways, it is mathematically simpler: the algebraic and geometric structures of CFT appear in a more straightforward manner; and because it has important applications: in string theory in the ...

Congruence Property In Conformal Field Theory
The congruence subgroup property is established for the modular representations associated to any modular tensor category. This result is used to prove that the kernel of the representation of the modular group on the conformal blocks of any rational ...

The toroidal block and the genus expansion [PDF]
We study the correspondence between four-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories and two-dimensional conformal field theories in the case of N=2* gauge theory.
