MR‐Linac Successfully Guided the Treatment of a Free‐Moving Mesenteric Mass
This case demonstrated that a mesenteric tumor could move significantly day‐to‐day in all directions with large volume change. MR‐Linac with online adaptive capability provided a superior platform to treat mobile target with significantly reduced normal tissue exposure to radiation .

Scheme 1. Schematic illustration of the synthesis and therapeutic evaluation of PLA‐g‐PAO microspheres (PLA‐g‐PAO‐Ms). Monodisperse PLA microspheres (PLA‐Ms) were initially fabricated via microfluidic technology. Surface grafting of acrylonitrile monomers was subsequently achieved through radiation‐induced graft polymerization, followed by ...

Stereotactic Prostate Cancer Ablative Re‐Irradiation: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis (SPARE)
ABSTRACT Background Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) is emerging as an alternative treatment for patients with locally recurrent prostate cancer after previous radiation. This approach allows for precise target coverage while limiting toxicity to surrounding organs.

Abstract Patients with recurrent high‐grade glioma (rHGG) have a poor prognosis with median progression‐free survival (PFS) of <7 months. Responses to treatment are heterogenous, suggesting a clinical need for prognostic models. Bayesian data analysis can exploit individual patient follow‐up imaging studies to adaptively predict the risk of progression.

Based on a 3D‐quantitative structure‐activity relationship pharmacophore model, structural optimization of Y6 yielded Y7f. Mechanistic studies revealed that Y7f acted as a programmed death receptor 1/programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD‐L1) interaction inhibitor by inducing PD‐L1 dimerization. Y7f restored T‐cell function.

The CD47–SIRPα axis has emerged as a critical innate immune checkpoint that suppresses macrophage‐mediated phagocytosis through a canonical “don't eat me” signal and enables tumor immune evasion. We comprehensively summarize the structural and biological features of CD47 and the molecular mechanisms underlying CD47‐mediated regulation of phagocytosis ...

ABSTRACT Background Head and neck cancer (HNC) patients are advised to undergo dental extraction of teeth with poor prognosis prior to radiotherapy (RT) initiation to prevent osteoradionecrosis (ORN). However, insufficient healing time may result in persistent extraction wounds during RT, which constitute a potential risk factor for ORN, whereas ...

Outcomes and Trends of Anal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Queensland: A 26‐Year Review
Anal squamous cell carcinoma incidence and mortality increased substantially in Queensland over 26 years, while survival outcomes remained unchanged. Evolving HPV prevention and screening strategies offer opportunities to reduce future disease burden, but substantial implementation barriers exist.

Perineal vulvar squamous cell carcinoma was identified in 147 of 571 cases. Owing to the anatomical proximity of these tumors to the anus, treatment selection may present considerable clinical challenges. The majority of patients (53%) underwent surgical treatment alone, whereas 23% received surgery combined with adjuvant radiotherapy and 24% were ...
