A canonical realization of the Weyl BMS symmetry
We construct a free field realization of an extension of the BMS algebra in 2+1 dimensional space-time. Besides the supertranslations and superrotations, the extension contains an infinite set of superdilatations.

The lure of conformal symmetry
The Clifford algebra, generated by the real (Majorana) gamma-matrices and by a hermitian gamma_5, gives room to the reductive Lie algebra u(2,2) of the conformal group extended by the u(1) helicity operator. Its unitary positive energy ladder representations, constructed by Gerhard Mack and the author 50 years ago, opened the way to a better ...

Hidden conformal symmetry of extreme and non-extreme Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton-Axion black holes
The hidden conformal symmetry of extreme and non-extreme Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton-Axion (EMDA) black holes is addressed in this paper. For the non-extreme one, employing the wave equation of massless scalars, the conformal symmetry with left temperature $

Conformal Symmetry and Supersymmetry in Rindler Space [PDF]
This paper addresses the fate of extended space-time symmetries, in particular conformal symmetry and supersymmetry, in two-dimensional Rindler space-time appropriate to a uniformly accelerated non-inertial frame in flat 1+1-dimensional space-time. Generically, in addition to a conformal co-ordinate transformation, the transformation of fields from ...

A novel solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) to overcome interface instability in high‐energy‐density lithium metal batteries has been developed. By enhancing ionic conductivity, mechanical elasticity, and adhesion strength through all‐material UV‐crosslinking, the SPE ensures uniform lithium‐ion flow and stable performance—even after bending or cutting ...

Twisted holography without conformal symmetry
We discuss the notion of translation-invariant vacua for 2d chiral algebras and relate it to the notion of the associated variety. The two-dimensional chiral algebra associated to four-dimensional N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 U(N) SYM has a conjectural ...

Vacuum energy sequestering and conformal symmetry [PDF]
In a series of recent papers Kaloper and Padilla proposed a mechanism to sequester standard model vacuum contributions to the cosmological constant. We study the consequences of embedding their proposal into a fully local quantum theory. In the original work, the bare cosmological constant $ $ and a scaling parameter $ $ are introduced as global ...

Cu2O/Cu Chiral Catalysts for Highly Selective Solar‐Assisted CO2‐to‐CO Electroreduction
To address the poor target‐product selectivity of the eCO2RR, breakthrough approaches based on the chiral‐induced spin selectivity phenomenon enhance the Faradaic efficiency (FE) for target hydrocarbons, such as CO. To induce this spin polarization strategy in Cu2O/Cu catalysts, it is proposed using amine‐based intermediate organic molecules with ...
