Dual conformal invariance in the Regge limit [PDF]
A dual conformal symmetry, analogous to the dual conformal symmetry observed for the scattering amplitudes of N=4 Super Yang-Mills theory, is identified in the Regge limit of QCD.

Strings with non-relativistic conformal symmetry and limits of the AdS/CFT correspondence [PDF]
We find a Polyakov-type action for strings moving in a torsional Newton-Cartan geometry. This is obtained by starting with the relativistic Polyakov action and fixing the momentum of the string along a non-compact null isometry.

I discuss the 2-flavor Schwinger model with θ = 0 and small equal and opposite fermion masses (or θ = π with equal masses). The massless model has an unparticle sector with unbroken conformal symmetry.

Quantum diffeomorphisms and conformal symmetry [PDF]
We analyze the constraints of general coordinate invariance for quantum theories possessing conformal symmetry in four dimensions. The character of these constraints simplifies enormously on the Einstein universe $R \times S^3$. The $SO(4,2)$ global conformal symmetry algebra of this space determines uniquely a finite shift in the Hamiltonian ...

A scaling limit for line and surface defects
We study symmetry-breaking line defects in the Wilson-Fisher theory with O(2N + 1) global symmetry near four dimensions and symmetry-preserving surface defects in a cubic model with O(2N) global symmetry near six dimensions.

The Uses of conformal symmetry in QCD [PDF]
The Lagrangian of Quantum Chromodynamics is invariant under conformal transformations. Although this symmetry is broken by quantum corrections, it has important consequences for strong interactions at short distances and provides one with powerful tools in practical calculations.

Geometric symmetries on Lorentzian manifolds [PDF]
Lie derivatives of various geometrical and physical quantities define symmetries and conformal symmetries in general relativity. Thus we obtain motions, collineations, conformal motions and conformal collineations. These symmetries are used not only to find new solutions of Einstein's field equations but to classify the spaces also.

Gravitational waves from conformal symmetry breaking [PDF]
We consider the electroweak phase transition in the conformal extension of the standard model known as SU(2)cSM. Apart from the standard model particles, this model contains an additional scalar and a gauge field that are both charged under the hidden SU(

Defect a-theorem and a-maximization
Conformal defects describe the universal behaviors of a conformal field theory (CFT) in the presence of a boundary or more general impurities. The coupled critical system is characterized by new conformal anomalies which are analogous to, and generalize ...
