A canonical realization of the Weyl BMS symmetry
We construct a free field realization of an extension of the BMS algebra in 2+1 dimensional space-time. Besides the supertranslations and superrotations, the extension contains an infinite set of superdilatations.

Ionic Control of Microstructure and Lubrication in Charged, Physically Cross‐Linked Hydrogels
Here, charged, physically cross‐linked poly(methacrylamide‐co‐methacrylic acid) hydrogels stabilized by a short‐range attractive, long‐range repulsive potential is investigated. This work uncovers how salt addition alters not only swelling, but also the microstructure and dynamics, near‐surface stiffness and charge, and ultimately, its lubricity. Salts

Massless fermions on a half-space: the curious case of 2+1-dimensions
Boundary conditions for a massless Dirac fermion in 2+1 dimensions where the space is a half-plane are discussed in detail. It is argued that linear boundary conditions that leave the Hamiltonian Hermitian generically break C P and T symmetries as well ...

This review explores functional and responsive materials for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in sustainable smart agriculture. It examines how particulate contamination and dirt affect charge transfer and efficiency. Environmental challenges and strategies to enhance durability and responsiveness are outlined, including active functional layers ...

A bespoke multilayer thin film configuration has been designed, which overcomes the material dependency of conventional isotope exchange Raman spectroscopy (IERS). This universal IERS methodology is efficient, non‐destructive and provides additional structural information and time resolution, which can be further extended to various isotopic elements ...

Conformal symmetry and the Standard Model
We re-examine the question of radiative symmetry breaking in the standard model in the presence of right-chiral neutrinos and a minimally enlarged scalar sector. We demonstrate that, with these extra ingredients, the hypothesis of classically unbroken conformal symmetry, besides naturally introducing and stabilizing a hierarchy, is compatible with all ...

Multiband Switchable Microwave Absorbing Metamaterials Based on Reconfigurable Kirigami–Origami
A reconfigurable metamaterial featuring tunable microwave‐absorbing and load‐bearing performance is proposed. Stretchable kirigami and bistable origami configurations are integrated as actuating components, and the synergistic deformation mechanisms are systematically analyzed.

PT Symmetry, Conformal Symmetry, and the Metrication of Electromagnetism [PDF]
We present some interesting connections between $PT$ symmetry and conformal symmetry. We use them to develop a metricated theory of electromagnetism in which the electromagnetic field is present in the geometric connection. However, unlike Weyl who first advanced this possibility, we do not take the connection to be real but to instead be $PT ...

Conformal mapping of non-Lorentzian geometries in SU(1, 2) Conformal Field Theory
We realize an explicit conformal mapping between the state and operator pictures in a class of (2 + 1)-dimensional non-Lorentzian field theories with SU(1, 2) × U(1) conformal symmetry.
