Comments on Galilean conformal field theories and their geometric realization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We discuss non-relativistic conformal algebras generalizing the Schr\"odinger algebra. One instance of these algebras is a conformal, acceleration-extended, Galilei algebra, which arises also as a contraction of the relativistic conformal algebra. In two

Conformal symmetries of spacetimes [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2002
The cycle-preserving symmetries for the nine two-dimensional real spaces of constant curvature are collectively obtained within a Cayley-Klein framework. This approach affords a unified and global study of the conformal structure of the three classical Riemannian spaces as well as of the six relativistic and non-relativistic spacetimes (Minkowskian, de

Anomalous Ward identities for on-shell amplitudes at the conformal fixed point

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Conformal symmetry underlies many massless quantum field theories, but little is known about the consequences of this powerful symmetry for on-shell scattering amplitudes.

Restricted Weyl Symmetry and Spontaneous Symmetry Breakdown of Conformal Symmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
We elucidate the relation between the restricted Weyl symmetry and spontaneous symmetry breakdown of conformal symmetry. Using a scalar-tensor gravity, we show that the restricted Weyl symmetry leads to spontaneous symmetry breakdown of a global scale symmetry when the vacuum expectation value of a scalar field takes a non-zero value.

Scalar-Vector Bootstrap [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We work out all of the details required for implementation of the conformal bootstrap program applied to the four-point function of two scalars and two vectors in an abstract conformal field theory in arbitrary dimension.

SO(5) Deconfined Phase Transition under the Fuzzy-Sphere Microscope: Approximate Conformal Symmetry, Pseudo-Criticality, and Operator Spectrum

open access: yesPhysical Review X
The deconfined quantum critical point (DQCP) is an example of phase transitions beyond the Landau symmetry-breaking paradigm that attracts wide interest. However, its nature has not been settled after decades of study.

Flat Space Amplitudes and Conformal Symmetry of the Celestial Sphere [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The four-dimensional (4D) Lorentz group $SL(2,\mathbb{C})$ acts as the two-dimensional (2D) global conformal group on the celestial sphere at infinity where asymptotic 4D scattering states are specified.

Mixed-symmetry fields in AdS(5), conformal fields, and AdS/CFT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Mixed-symmetry arbitrary spin massive, massless, and self-dual massive fields in AdS(5) are studied. Light-cone gauge actions for such fields leading to decoupled equations of motion are constructed. Light-cone gauge formulation of mixed-symmetry anomalous conformal currents and shadows in 4d flat space is also developed.

Conformal Higher Spin Currents in Any Dimension and AdS/CFT Correspondence [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 0012 (2000) 018, 2000
The full list of conserved conformal higher spin currents built from massless scalar and spinor fields is presented. It is shown that, analogously to the relationship between usual conformal and AdS symmetries, the set of the conformal higher spin symmetry parameters associated with the conformal conserved currents in d dimensions is in the one-to-one ...
