Confusion-Based Online Learning and a Passive-Aggressive Scheme
International audienceThis paper provides the first ---to the best of our knowledge--- analysis of online learning algorithms for multiclass problems when the {\em confusion} matrix is taken as a performance measure.

Auditory–Tactile Congruence for Synthesis of Adaptive Pain Expressions in RoboPatients
In this work, we explore auditory–tactile congruence for synthesizing adaptive vocal pain expressions in robopatients. Using a robopatient platform that integrates vocal pain sounds with palpation forces, we conducted 7680 trials across 20 participants.

Development of a Mobile-Based Application for Classifying Caladium Plants Using the CNN Algorithm
Caladium is a popular ornamental plant and has business potential. However, difficulties in recognizing the type of Caladium often occur because of the similarities in shape, pattern, and color of the leaves between the different kinds of Caladium.

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

Hierarchical Summary Statistics Encoding Across Primary Visual and Posterior Parietal Cortices
This study shows that mouse V1 simultaneously encodes the ensemble mean and variance of motion, providing a robust summary‐statistic representation that persists despite single‐neuron variability. These signals propagate to PPC, where they are transformed into abstract category representations during decision making.

Intelligent Stain‐Free Histology on Structural Colorimetric Nanocavities
Chen and Gan et al. introduce a label‐free imaging platform using inexpensive Nanocavity‐on‐Silicon (NOS) slides. These slides transform subtle tissue variations into vivid structural colors, enabling high‐contrast histological imaging under a regular optical microscope. This stain‐free approach reveals morphological details comparable to traditional H&
