Congenital factor VII deficiency
The Journal of Pediatrics, 1971Summary A case of factor VII deficiency in a PuertoRican boy is described. He presented with epistaxis as the only symptom. The importance of early diagnosis of the defect is stressed. Identification of heterozygous carriers is also of importance because these persons, for unknown reasons, might present with hemorrhagic diathesis.

Congenital deficiency of factor VII
The Indian Journal of Pediatrics, 1996A case of congenital factor VII deficiency in a five-year-old child is reported. The patient, born of a non-consanguineous marriage, presented with repeated bouts of epistaxis since childhood. The prothrombin time (PT) was markedly prolonged with a normal bleeding time (BT), partial thromboplastin time with Kaolin (PTTK) and platelet count. The patient

Thromboembolism in Congenital Factor VII Deficiency
Acta Haematologica, 2009An Israeli family of Persian origin was investigated for factor VII deficiency. The proposita, derived from a consanguineous marriage, had repeated thrombophlebitis attacks, pulmonary embolism and rectal bleeding. The family studied and the proposita had low factor VII procoagulant activity and low factor VII antigen.

Factor VII Congenital Deficiency
Haemostasis, 2009In congenital factor VII deficiency the clinical picture is related to the levels of factor VII coagulant activity; when factor VΠ:C levels are very low the bleeding episodes can occur frequently. The most frequent bleedings are menorrhagia and metrorrhagia in females and hemarthrosis in both sexes.

Japanese family with congenital factor VII deficiency
Pediatrics International, 2015AbstractCongenital factor VII (FVII) deficiency is a rare bleeding disorder with autosomal recessive inheritance. The present female patient was diagnosed with congenital FVII deficiency because of low hepaplastin test (HPT), although vitamin K was given. Heterozygous p.A191T mutation was detected in the peripheral blood, and the same mutation was also

CONGENITAL DEFICIENCY OF FACTOR VII
Australasian Annals of Medicine, 1958SummaryLaboratory investigations are described in a female patient who suffers from a congenital hæmorrhagic disorder due to deficiency of Factor VII. The one‐stage prothrombin time using brain extract was greatly prolonged, but using viper venom was normal. All tests of the intrinsic blood coagulation mechanism, including the thromboplastin generation

Congenital Factor VII Deficiency
2018Coagulation factor (F) II (prothrombin) is a vitamin K-dependent coagulation factor which has an essential role in coagulation cascade. This protein is activated to thrombin by Factor X in the presence of FV and calcium. Congenital FII deficiency is an autosomal recessive bleeding disorder with an estimated incidence of 1:2,000,000 worldwide.

Carrier detection in factor VII congenital deficiency
British Journal of Haematology, 1985SummaryThirty obligate and 28 possible carriers of factor VII congenital deficiency, belonging to 16 families, were studied in relation to the immunological variants to which the kindreds belonged, namely, VII+, VIIR and VII‐. Factor VII activity and antigen determinations in these subjects formed two phenotypical patterns: a discrepant pattern ...
