Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography Imaging of Congenital Retinal Macrovessel
Ophthalmic Surgery Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2016Congenital retinal macrovessels (CRM) are rarely reported, aberrant, large branches of retinal vessels that can be both arteries and veins; however, they are more commonly veins that cross the horizontal raphe to either supply or drain the macula. In this brief report, the authors discuss optical coherence tomography angiography features of CRM in a 12-

Congenital retinal macrovessels: Case presentation
Archivos de la Sociedad Española de Oftalmología (English Edition), 2021We present an uncommon case of a unilateral congenital retinal macrovessel documented with retinography, perimetry, fluorescein angiography and macular optical coherence tomography. In the case presented the macrovessel crossed the horizontal meridian, between macula and optic disk.

Congenital Retinal Macrovessels
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1982The clinical and fluorescein angiographic features of seven patients with unilateral, large retinal vessels supplying or draining the macular region, both inferior and superior to the horizontal raphe, are described. All patients had good vision, although two patients also had a concomitant foveolar cyst in the involved eye.

Retinal Arteriolar Macroaneurysm and Congenital Retinal Macrovessel
Ophthalmic Surgery, Lasers and Imaging Retina, 2009Variations in the morphology of the aneurysm and its serosanguineous complications serve to make a retinal arteriolar macroaneurysm, a common masquerading entity, particularly if it is accompanied by another un-associated retinal vascular abnormality. The authors present a patient who had an unusually large retinal arteriolar macroaneurysm

Valsalva Retinopathy Associated With a Congenital Retinal Macrovessel
Archives of Ophthalmology, 2000AN 18- YEAR-OLD healthy white man reported a sudden decrease in central visual acuity in his right eye after physical exertion, probably combined with a Valsalva maneuver, while repairing his car. He did not report other symptoms and was not taking systemic medications. Best-corrected visual acuity was 20/600 OD and 20/20 OS.

[Congenital retinal macrovessel].
Klinische Monatsblatter fur Augenheilkunde, 1998A 18-year-old male was evaluated for vitreous floaters. Examination exhibited a large, aberrant retinal venule in the inferiortemporal macula. The venule crossed the horizontal raphe. Only slight retinal pigment epithelial changes were present. Fluorescein angiography transiting revealed no early filling and no evidence of arteriovenous anastomoses ...
