Ultrastructural Observations on the Spinal Cords of Piglets Affected with Congenital Tremor Type AIV

Research in Veterinary Science, 1974
The ultrastructural appearance of the spinal cord of 3 piglets affected with congenital tremor type AIV was examined and compared with normal litter mates. In affected pigs some axons, of all diameters, were unmyelinated and the myelin sheaths of the remainder were much thinner than normal.

Ultrastructural Observations on the Spinal Cord of a Landrace Pig with Congenital Tremor Type AIII

Research in Veterinary Science, 1974
The ultrastructural appearance of the spinal cord of a Landrace piglet with a sex-linked abnormality of myelination (congenital tremor type AIII) was examined and compared with a clinically normal litter mate. Evidence of porcine circovirus-like virus P1 in piglets with an unusual congenital tremor

Transboundary and Emerging Diseases, 2017
Outbreaks of trembling and shaking were reported among pigs at two pig farms in Jiangsu Province, China. Serum and tissue samples tested positive for porcine circovirus-like virus P1 and negative for classical swine fever virus, porcine circovirus type 2, astrovirus and porcine pestivirus using PCR/RT-PCR and immunohistochemical techniques.
