Catalytic Functionalization of Unactivated π‐Bonds Enabled by Bidentate Directing Auxiliaries
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.This review explores how bidentate directing auxiliaries have advanced transition‐metal catalysis for unactivated alkene/alkyne functionalization. By leveraging chelated intermediates, bidentate directing auxiliaries enable precise hydrofunctionalization, difunctionalization, and C─H activation of π‐bonds with unique selectivity and reactivity.

Iterative Synthesis of Pyrene–Coronene Molecular Graphene Nanoribbons
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.An iterative approach delivers a new family of undoped, cove‐edged graphene nanoribbons with lengths up to 9.1 nm that exhibit both molar absorptivity and fluorescence brightness values on the order of 105 M−1 cm−1 and an intrinsic charge‐carrier mobility of 475 ± 32 cm2 V−1 s−1.

SDPR–STK38 axis controls the proliferation–differentiation balance in alveolar type II cells
Animal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.The present study identifies SDPR as a pivotal regulator orchestrating the balance between proliferation and differentiation in alveolar type II (AT2) cells. In SDPR+/+ cells, SDPR binds to and inhibits STK38 activity, thereby sustaining GSK‐3β signaling functionality to promote cyclin D1 degradation and maintain cell cycle homeostasis.
