Comparison of Minimally Invasive Colectomy Between Intra‐ Versus Extra‐Corporeal Anastomosis Technique (COMMIT Study): Mid‐Term Analysis

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
This multicenter retrospective cohort study compared mid‐term oncological outcomes between intracorporeal anastomosis (IA) and extracorporeal anastomosis (EA) in minimally invasive colectomy for colon cancer using propensity score–matched data from 2018 to 2022.

Priority based Congestion Control Mechanism in Multipath Wireless Sensor Network

open access: yes, 2014
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a network composed of distributed autonomous devices using sensors. Sensor nodes send their collected data to a determined node called Sink. The sink processes data and performs appropriate actions.

“Intrapericardial Approach” for Venous Outflow Reconstruction in Living‐Donor Liver Transplantation for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome: Surgical Techniques and LongTerm Outcomes

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Unlike deceased‐donor liver transplantation, living‐donor liver transplantation (LDLT) for Budd‐Chiari Syndrome (BCS) presents distinctive challenges in hepatic venous (HV)‐outflow reconstruction because diseased HV–inferior vena cava (IVC) cannot be entirely replaced with healthy donor vessels.

Research of Integrated Congestion Control Mechanism

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2012
In order to solve the problem that classifying mechanism of SFB congestion control algorithm for wireless sensor network could be influenced to cause transmission performance degradation of TCP flow under large network flow, the paper introduced ...

A discrete-time performance model for congestion control mechanism using queue thresholds with QOS constraints

open access: yes, 2005
YesThis paper presents a new analytical framework for the congestion control of Internet traffic using a queue threshold scheme. This framework includes two discrete-time analytical models for the performance evaluation of a threshold based congestion ...

Performance of VoIP with DCCP for satellite links [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present experimental results for the performance of selected voice codecs using the Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP) with TCP-Friendly Rate Control (TFRC) congestion control mechanism over a satellite link.

Risks and Benefits of Feeding Enterostomy Creation During Minimally Invasive Esophagectomy: A Propensity‐Weighted Analysis Using the Japanese National Clinical Database

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Feeding enterostomy during MIE was evaluated in 19 054 patients from the Japanese NCD using propensity weighting. Enterostomy was associated with higher reoperation and respiratory complications, but lower delayed gastric emptying and deep vein thrombosis, with no significant difference in overall bowel obstruction.

Feedback-Based Control Loop Congestion Control Algorithm for Wireless Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access
Wi-Fi plays a crucial role in connecting private professional networks by providing varying data rates based on channel quality. Despite advancements in Wi-Fi protocols, there is still a problem of throughput degradation for higher data rate devices when

Real-time data flow models and congestion management for wire and wireless IP networks

open access: yes, 2011
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 103-111).In video streaming, network congestion compromises the video throughput performance and impairs its perceptual quality and may interrupt the display.
