Backbone‐Length‐Optimized Inhibitors Deliver Long‐Retention Selectivity in Area‐Selective ALD of VO2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Area‐selective VO2 ALD is found to depend critically on inhibitor backbone length, which governs physisorption, chemisorption stability, and packing efficiency in a coupled manner. An intermediate backbone‐length achieves the best long‐retention selectivity, establishing a chemically and geometrically grounded design principle for small‐molecule ...

End-to-End TCP Congestion Control for Mobile Applications

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper addresses the re-engineering of congestion control for TCP applications over networks with coupled wireless links. Using queueing delay as a congestion measure, we show that optimal TCP congestion control can be achieved by developing window ...

Research on the Traffic Flow Control of Urban Occasional Congestion Based on Catastrophe Theory

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2021
Aimed at the problem of occasional congestion control, the cusp catastrophe theory is used to establish the catastrophe model of the urban road system under occasional congestion, finding breakpoints and analyzing stability after urban road system ...

Targeting PLD3 Reverses the Immunosuppressive Niche by Reprogramming Tumor‐Associated Macrophages and Potentiates Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLD3 activates the lysosomal‐AKT‐NF‐κB axis to drive cellular senescence in macrophages, establishing an immunosuppressive TME by limiting the infiltration of cytotoxic T, NK, and NKT cells, which confers resistance to anti‐PD‐1 therapy. Abrine inhibits PLD3 expression, restoring antitumor immunity and synergizing with anti‐PD‐1 treatment.

Design and analysis for TCP-friendly window-based congestion control

open access: yes, 2006
The current congestion control mechanisms for the Internet date back to the early 1980’s and were primarily designed to stop congestion collapse with the typical traffic of that era.

A Strong Lewis Acidic Diethylsilylium Catalyst for Direct Sulfonamidation of Challenging Ketones

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low‐substitution‐order silylium ions (R2HSi+) exhibit exceptional Lewis acidic activity. We report diethylsilylium‐catalyzed reductive sulfonamidation of functionalized ketones to access β‐amino esters. The in situ generated ion pair shows enhanced reactivity, with diethylsilane serving as both reductant and precatalyst. The developed protocol proceeds

Design and performance evaluation of multicast congestion control for the internet [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Multi-rate Multicast Congestion Control (MR-MCC) is a promising opportunity to tackle the multicast congestion control problem in huge and heterogeneous networks like the global Internet.

p300 Degradation by the p53‐SIAH1 Axis Relieves TBK1 Acetylation to Enhance Innate Antiviral Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies p300 as the acetyltransferase that acetylates TBK1 and inhibits its phosphorylation. Activation of the p53‐SIAH1 axis by immune response downregulates p300 expression to sustain innate antiviral immunity. Conditional p300 knockout in alveolar epithelial cells in vivo promotes antiviral responses and suppresses virus replication ...

Targeting Lipopolysaccharide Transport Induces Membrane Lipid Remodeling and Sensitizes Acinetobacter baumannii to Colistin Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies C4 as a lead inhibitor of the Lpt system. Notably, C4 potentiates colistin activity by disrupting LPS transport and remodeling phospholipid homeostasis, revealing a functional interplay between the Lpt and Mla systems. These findings establish a mechanistic link between Lpt inhibition and membrane lipid remodeling, positioning Lpt–
