Approximation of conic sections by weighted Lupaş post-quantum Bézier curves

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2022
This paper deals with weighted Lupaş post-quantum Bernstein blending functions and Bézier curves constructed with the help of bases via (p,q)\left(p,q)-integers. These blending functions form normalized totally positive bases.

Discrete characterizations of wave front sets of Fourier-Lebesgue and quasianalytic type [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We obtain discrete characterizations of wave front sets of Fourier-Lebesgue and quasianalytic type. It is shown that the microlocal properties of an ultradistribution can be obtained by sampling the Fourier transforms of its localizations over a lattice ...

Some incidence theorems and integrable discrete equations

open access: yes, 2004
Several incidence theorems of planar projective geometry are considered. It is demonstrated that generalizations of Pascal theorem due to M\"obius give rise to double cross-ratio equation and Hietarinta equation.

Abscissas and Ordinates [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
In the manner of Apollonius of Perga, but hardly any modern book, we investigate conic sections as such. We thus discover why Apollonius calls a conic section a parabola, an hyperbola, or an ellipse; and we discover the meanings of the terms abscissa and

Learning Trajectory for Pre-Service Mathematics Teachers in Geometry through the Context of Bengkulu Conic-Section Batik Patterns

open access: yesInovasi Matematika
The understanding of analytic geometry is often hindered by its abstract presentation and its disconnection from local contexts familiar to students.

THE HYPERBOLOID OF REVOLUTION OF ONE NAPPE A RULED SURFACE GENERATING CONICS

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2013
The paper intends to underline the property of the hyperboloid of revolution of one nappe to generate on its surface, when it is cut by a plane, the three known conics (ellipse, hyperbola and parabola).Cutting this surface by a plane, we find the ...

PENGEMBANGAN MODUL IRISAN KERUCUT BERBANTUAN GEOGEBRA

open access: yesAksioma: Jurnal Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, 2017
The aim of this research was to develop a conic section modul. The modul used GeoGebra in presenting material. This research used development model of Plomp, with three step including preliminary research, prototyping stage and assesment phase.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Area Properties of Strictly Convex Curves

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
We study functions defined in the plane E 2 in which level curves are strictly convex, and investigate area properties of regions cut off by chords on the level curves.

Crafting Conic Sections [PDF]

open access: yesMath Horizons, 2021
Circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas are called conic sections because each of these curves arises as the boundary of a slice of a cone. Imagine slicing a solid cone of clay.
