Conical Sections

open access: yes, 2018

Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

X-ray absorption tomography employing a conical shell beam [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We demonstrate depth-resolved absorption imaging by scanning an object through a conical shell of X-rays. We measure ring shaped projections and apply tomosynthesis to extract optical sections at different axial focal plane positions.

The influence of geometrical parameters of the forming channel on the boundary value of the axial force in the agglomeration process of dry ice

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
The article presents the results of study on the influence of geometrical parameters of the forming channels on axial force which is the main parameter of the agglomeration process of dry ice in the piston method.

Structure‐Guided Dynamical Mechanics in Bioinspired Double Twisted Laminated Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores a dynamic mechanistic study of crack propagation and puncture testing via real‐time monitoring of crack initiation, propagation, and termination through nature‐inspired single and double twisted architectures fabricated from cellulose nanocrystals.

Geophysical characterization of salt caverns for compressed air energy storage using microtremor array measurements

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science
Accurate characterization of salt caverns is a prerequisite for evaluating the feasibility of Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES), yet high-noise urban environments pose challenges for conventional active-source geophysical methods. To address this, our

Investigation of the parameters of a power truss for fixing mirrors in a telescopic complex for an ultra-low-orbit spacecraft [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The design parameters of a power structure for fixing mirrors in the optical circuit of surveillance equipment intended for installation on an ultra-low-orbit spacecraft are being investigated.

Double‐Interpenetrating Composite Bioink for Multi‐Component 3D Bioprinting and Biofabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Marine‐polysaccharides‐derived double interpenetrating network hydrogel‐based bioink, combining the attributes of physical and ionic crosslinking, enables room‐temperature bioprinting of mechanically defined structures that can be handled and are cytocompatible.

Positive mass theorem for asymptotically flat spin manifolds with isolated conical singularities

open access: yes, 2023
There has been a lot of interests in Positive Mass Theorems for singular metrics on smooth manifolds. We prove a positive mass theorem for asymptotically flat (AF) spin manifolds with isolated conical singularities or more generally horn singularities ...

Distribution of Flow Velocity Around Conical Nets [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
This paper deals with the velocity around the conical net in the flume tank at the Faculty of Fisheries, Kagoshima University. Eight types of conical nets were used for the experiment ; out of which four kinds were the same netting with different hanging
