Bayesian Inference for Joint Estimation Models Using Copulas to Handle Endogenous Regressors
ABSTRACT This study proposes a Bayesian approach for finite‐sample inference of the Gaussian copula endogeneity correction. Extant studies use frequentist inference, build on a priori computed estimates of marginal distributions of explanatory variables, and use bootstrapping to obtain standard errors. The proposed Bayesian approach facilitates precise

Groups with conjugacy classes of coprime sizes
Abstract Suppose that , are elements of a finite group lying in conjugacy classes of coprime sizes. We prove that is an abelian normal subgroup of and, as a consequence, that if and are ‐regular elements for some set of primes , then is a ‐regular conjugacy class in .

An extended definition of Anosov representation for relatively hyperbolic groups
Abstract We define a new family of discrete representations of relatively hyperbolic groups which unifies many existing definitions and examples of geometrically finite behavior in higher rank. The definition includes the relative Anosov representations defined by Kapovich–Leeb and Zhu, and Zhu–Zimmer, as well as holonomy representations of various ...

Regional Shopping Objectives in British Grocery Retail Transactions Using Segmented Topic Models
ABSTRACT Understanding the customer behaviours behind transactional data has high commercial value in the grocery retail industry. Customers generate millions of transactions every day, choosing and buying products to satisfy specific shopping needs.

THE INFLUENCE OF CONJUGACY CLASS SIZES ON THE STRUCTURE OF FINITE GROUPS: A SURVEY
The importance of conjugacy classes for the structure of finite groups was recognised very early in the study of groups. In this survey we consider the results from the many articles which have developed this topic and examined the influence of conjugacy class sizes or the number of conjugacy classes on the structure of finite groups.

On the largest conjugacy class size in a finite group
Let \(G\) denote a finite group and let \(\text{lcs}(G)\) denote the largest conjugacy class size of \(G\). If \(G_p\) is a Sylow \(p\)-subgroup of \(G\), the authors prove the following Theorem: Let \(G\) be an Abelian-by-nilpotent finite group. Then: \[ \text{lcs}(G)\geq\prod_{p\in\pi(G)}\text{lcs}(G_p).

On recognition of $A_6\times A_6$ by the set of conjugacy class sizes
For a finite group $G$ denote by $N(G)$ the set of conjugacy class sizes of $G$. Recently the following question has been asked: Is it true that for each nonabelian finite simple group $S$ and each $n\in\mathbb{N}$, if the set of class sizes of a finite group $G$ with trivial center is the same as the set of class sizes of the direct power $S^n$, then $
