On a Graph Related to Conjugacy Classes of Groups
Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1990The conjugacy classes of a group play an important role in its structure. The authors consider the set of non-central conjugacy classes of a finite group \(G\), \(\hbox{Con}(G)\). They then construct a graph \(\Gamma(G)\) whose vertices are in 1-1 correspondence with \(\hbox{Con}(G)\) and where two vertices are connected when the sizes of the conjugacy

ON GROUPS WITH TWO INFINITE CONJUGACY CLASSES
Ischia Group Theory 2006, 2007An element x of a group G is called an FC-element if the conjugacy class of x is finite. A group is called an FC-group if all its elements are FC-elements. FC-groups were first studied by R. Baer and B.H. Neumann and then by many other authors. We denote by D_i the class of groups with i conjugacy classes of infinite size.

Conjugacy Classes of the 3-Braid Group
Algebra Colloquium, 2010In this article, we describe the summit sets in the 3-braid group, the smallest element in a summit set, and we compute the Hilbert series corresponding to conjugacy classes. The results are related to the Birman–Menasco classification of knots with braid index three or less than three.

On the Conjugacy Classes in an Integral Group Ring
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1978Let G be a periodic group and ZG its integral group ring. The elements ±g(g∈G) are called the trivial units of ZG. In [1], S. D. Berman has shown that if G is finite, then every unit of finite order is trivial if and only if G is abelian or the direct product of a quaternion group of order 8 and an elementary abelin 2-group. By comparison, Losey in [7]
