EXPERIENCE OF APPLICATION AND SAFETY ASSESSMENT OF THE 13-VALENT PNEUMOCOCCAL CONJUGATE VACCINE IN UNDER-5 CHILDREN

open access: yesПедиатрическая фармакология, 2014
Compulsory use of the 7-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine in the framework of national pediatric immunization schedules of the developed countries resulted in significant decrease in the prevalence of the pneumococcal infections induced by the ...

Efficacy, but not antibody titer or affinity, of a heroin hapten conjugate vaccine correlates with increasing hapten densities on tetanus toxoid, but not on CRM197 carriers.

open access: yesBioconjugate chemistry, 2015
Vaccines against drugs of abuse have induced antibodies in animals that blocked the biological effects of the drug by sequestering the drug in the blood and preventing it from crossing the blood-brain barrier.

Advances and Strategies in Enhancing mRNA Cancer Vaccines

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines offer a powerful approach for cancer immunotherapy, but their clinical impact remains limited by delivery challenges and suboptimal immune activation. This review discusses key biological barriers and design strategies—including structural optimization, immunomodulation, organ targeting delivery, and advanced nanocarriers ...

Artificial Intelligence‐Driven Nanoarchitectonics for Smart Targeted Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This perspective introduces an artificial intelligence (AI)‐driven nanoarchitectonics framework for targeted drug delivery, combining database‐guided nanocarrier design, machine learning (ML)‐assisted surface engineering with a designed targeting system, and in silico modeling for dynamic optimization.

How Real‐Time Kinetics Explain the Different Interaction of Cubosomes and Hexosomes Nanoparticles with Lipid Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
GMO cubosomes and DOPE hexosomes interact differently with lipid membranes: cubosomes exchange lipid molecules with the membranes, destabilizing them when the membranes do not contain cholesterol. Hexosomes interact more gently with membranes and tend to fuse and incorporate into them.

Implantable Microarray Patch: Engineering at the Nano and Macro Scale for Sustained Therapeutic Release via Synthetic Biodegradable Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 10, Issue 6, March 18, 2025.
This review focuses on the application of synthetic biodegradable microarray patches (MAPs) in sustained drug delivery. Compared to conventional MAPs which release drugs into the skin in an immediate manner, these implantable MAPs release drugs into skin microcirculation gradually as the biodegradable polymers degrade, thus offering sustained release ...
