Exciton dynamics in conjugated polymer systems

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
Exciton dynamics in π-conjugated polymers systems encompass multiple time and length scales. Ultrafast femtosecond processes are intrachain and involve a quantum mechanical correlation of the exciton and nuclear degrees of freedom.

Covalent Polymer-Drug Conjugates [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2005
In this work, polymer-drugs conjugates used as drug delivery systems (DDS) are revised attending to their chemical conjugation. Namely, the classification of this type of DDS is based on the conjugation sites of the reactive groups (i.e., via end groups or pendant polymer groups).

Bio-degradable highly fluorescent conjugated polymer nanoparticles for bio-medical imaging applications

open access: yesNature Communications, 2017
Conjugated polymer nanoparticles have been applied for biological fluorescence imaging in cell culture and in small animals, but cannot readily be excreted through the renal system.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Control over the aggregated structure of donor–acceptor conjugated polymer films for high‐mobility organic field‐effect transistors

open access: yesAggregate
Donor–acceptor (D‐A) conjugated polymers have demonstrated great potential in organic field‐effect transistors application, and their aggregated structure is a crucial factor for high charge mobility.

Novel Luminescent Multilayer Films Containing π-Conjugated Anionic Polymer with Electronic Microenvironment

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2016
Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), luminescent π-conjugated anionic polymer and montmorillonite (MMT) were orderly assembled into luminescent multilayer films via layer-by-layer self-assembly method. The electronic microenvironment (EME), the structure of

Bottom‐Up Growth of n‐Type Polymer Monolayers for High‐Performance Complementary Integrated Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, 2023
Downscaling the semiconductor into ultrathin film is of vital importance to high‐performance field–effect transistors (FETs), but the high‐mobility FETs based on conjugated polymer monolayers have been rarely realized.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
