Alcohol‐Processable All‐Polymer n‐Type Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Science
The general strategy for n‐type organic thermoelectric is to blend n‐type conjugated polymer hosts with small molecule dopants. In this work, all‐polymer n‐type thermoelectric is reported by dissolving a novel n‐type conjugated polymer and a polymer ...

Electro-Optical and Electrochemical Properties of a Conjugated Polymer Prepared by the Cyclopolymerization of Diethyl Dipropargylmalonate

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2008
The electro-optical and electrochemical properties of poly(diethyl dipropargylmalonate) were measured and discussed. Poly(diethyl dipropargylmalonate) prepared by (NBD)PdCl2 catalyst was used for study.

Synthesis of a Thienothiophene Conjugated Polymer

open access: yesMolecules, 2000
A new conducting polymer was prepared by chemical and electrochemical polymerization of 3,6-dimethylthieno[3,2-b]thiophene. The galvanostatic deposition afforded uniform, adherent and dark blue films of PDMTT.

Accelerating charge transfer via nonconjugated polyelectrolyte interlayers toward efficient versatile photoredox catalysis

open access: yesCommunications Chemistry, 2021
Conjugated polymers are commonly used as charge conducting systems in photocatalysts, but the use of nonconjugated polymers is less well understood. Here CdS photocatalysts are coated by non-conjugated polyelectrolyte layers, and the influence of the ...

π-Conjugated Conductive Polymers

open access: yesInternational Polymer Science and Technology, 2008
π-Conjugated polymers are electrically conductive and light-emitting. They are film-forming, and their films possess flexibility and thermostability. They are attracting much attention as future materials for electronic and optical devices. Various π-conjugated conductive polymers have been synthesized via organometallic polycondensations mediated by ...

Covalent Polymer-Drug Conjugates [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules, 2005
In this work, polymer-drugs conjugates used as drug delivery systems (DDS) are revised attending to their chemical conjugation. Namely, the classification of this type of DDS is based on the conjugation sites of the reactive groups (i.e., via end groups or pendant polymer groups).

Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

From non‐doped to dopable: The impact of methoxy functionalization on doping and thermoelectric properties of conjugated polymers

open access: yesEcoMat
The introduction of alkoxy side chains into the backbone of conjugated polymers is an effective way to change their properties. While the impact on the structure and optoelectronic properties of polymer thin films was well‐studied in organic solar cells ...
