Tadpole Domination in Graphs

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2018
A new type of the connected domination parameters called tadpole domination number of a graph is introduced. Tadpole domination number for some standard graphs is determined, and some bounds for this number are obtained. Additionally, a new graph, finite,

Connected domination and dominating clique in trapezoid graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Applied Mathematics, 2000
The class of trapezoid graphs is defined as the intersection graphs of a collection of trapezoids. A set of vertices that dominates the graph and induces a connected graph is a connected dominating set. The smallest set is called the connected domination number for the graph. It is known that this problem is NP-hard.

Weakly connected domination subdivision numbers

open access: yes, 2008
A set D of vertices in a graph G = (V,E) is a weakly connected dominating set of G if D is dominating in G and the subgraph weakly induced by D is connected.

Connected Domination Polynomial of Graphs

open access: yesFasciculi Mathematici, 2018
Abstract Let G be a simple graph of order n. The connected domination polynomial of G is the polynomial $D_c \left( {G,x} \right) = \sum\nolimits_{i = \gamma _c \left( G \right)}^{\left| {V\left( G \right)} \right|} {d_c \left( {G,i} \right)x^i }$ , where dc(G,i) is the number of connected dominating sets of G of size i and γc(G) is the connected ...

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Weakly convex and convex domination numbers [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2004
Two new domination parameters for a connected graph \(G\): the weakly convex domination number of \(G\) and the convex domination number of \(G\) are introduced. Relations between these parameters and the other domination parameters are derived.

Variant Domination Types for a Complete h-ary Tree

open access: yesمجلة بغداد للعلوم, 2021
Graph  is a tool that can be used to simplify and solve network problems. Domination is a typical network problem that graph theory is well suited for. A subset of nodes in any network is called dominating if every node is contained in this subset, or is

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Hop Domination in Graphs-II

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2015
Let G = (V;E) be a graph. A set S ⊂ V (G) is a hop dominating set of G if for every v ∈ V - S, there exists u ∈ S such that d(u; v) = 2. The minimum cardinality of a hop dominating set of G is called a hop domination number of G and is denoted by γh(G ...
