Histopathologic Analysis of the Morpho‐Functional Zones of the Human Acetabular Labrum
ABSTRACT The structural and functional adaptation of soft tissues to mechanical load controls their ability to withstand injury and influences their capacity for healing. Similar to the knee meniscus, the acetabular labrum exhibits zonal differences in mechanical load distribution, resulting in distinct regions with unique structural and functional ...

SCREENING METHOD OF THE DYSPLASIA OF THE CONNECTIVE TISSUE IN ADOLESCENTS
ABSTRACT Aim of the study is to develop the diagnostic checklist based on the incidence and significance analysis of the external features of the dysplasia of the connective tissue (DCT) for its screening and assessment of its prevalence in the adolescents’ population.Materials and methods.110 adolescents (aged from 10 to 14 years) were examined, 81 of

The role of Rho GTPases in facial morphogenesis
The role of small GTPases, RHOA, RAC1, and CDC42 and pathway mediators is reviewed in the context of embryonic facial development. Lip fusion requires cytoskeletal remodeling during morphogenesis of the facial processes and during lip fusion. Fnm, frontonasal mass; lnp, lateral nasal process; mnp, medial nasal process; mxp, maxillary process; np, nasal

Connective tissue dysplasia: new horizons of the problem [PDF]
The work raises questions of predicting the complications of pregnancy and childbirth and adverse conditions in the fetus in the presence of UCTD in the expectant mother, who also need to be studied, especially from the standpoint of mathematical modeling of the disease.

Role of SoxE transcription factors in development and disease
Abstract Sox8, Sox9, and Sox10 arose by multiple rounds of genome duplications from a single SoxE gene in ancestral vertebrates. In this review, we will briefly discuss the molecular structure and function of SoxE transcription factors and their evolutionary origin. We will then discuss their expression, function, and developmental disorders.

Extracardiac manifestations of connective tissue dysplasia in mitral valve prolapse
Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) is the most studied manifestation of connective tissue dysplasia (CTD). Congenital connective tissue defect, lying in the base of the heart anomaly in MVP leads to another internal organs changes.
