Shrinkable sleeve eliminates shielding gap in RF cable [PDF]
RF shielding gap between an RF cable and a multipin connector is eliminated by a sleeve assembly installed between the connector and the terminated portion of the shielding. The assembly is enclosed in a heat-shrinkable plastic sleeve which completes the

Specifying Software Connectors [PDF]
Orchestrating software components, often from independent suppliers, became a central concern in software construction. Actually, as relevant as components themselves, are the ways in which they can be put together to interact and cooperate in order to achieve some common goal.

The Caenorhabditis elegans DPF‐3 and human DPP4 have tripeptidyl peptidase activity
The dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) family comprises serine proteases classically defined by their ability to remove dipeptides from the N‐termini of substrates, a feature that gave the family its name. Here, we report the discovery of a previously unrecognized tripeptidyl peptidase activity in DPPIV family members from two different species.

Wiring harnesses documented by punched-card technique [PDF]
Cards representing a connector are punched, sorted, and then used to printout wiring documentation for that connector. When wiring changes are made, new cards are punched and the wiring documentation is reprinted to reflect the latest ...

The role and implications of mammalian cellular circadian entrainment
At their most fundamental level, mammalian circadian rhythms occur inside every individual cell. To tell the correct time, cells must align (or ‘entrain’) their circadian rhythm to the external environment. In this review, we highlight how cells entrain to the major circadian cues of light, feeding and temperature, and the implications this has for our

Numerical analysis of forging a connector for light vehicles from cast magnesium alloy preforms
The article presents the results of numerical analysis of the new forging process of the connector forging from cast preform on hydraulic press. The high strength ZK60 alloy (belonging to the Mg-Zn-Zr group of Mg alloys) was selected to numerical tests ...

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...
