Delineating trajectories of alcohol consumption and alcohol problems from adolescence to young adulthood: An integrated assessment of genetic, familial, and psychosocial factors

This study used data from the UK‐based ALSPAC cohort to examine how genetic, environmental, and psychosocial factors measured before age 16 predict trajectories of alcohol consumption and problems from ages 16 to 23. Latent growth models showed most predictors were linked to initial levels, while fewer predicted change over time.
