In the present work, we investigated the effect of chronic ethanol (20% v/v) intake for 2, 6 and 10 weeks on basal arterial blood pressure, baroreflex and heart rate levels, as well as on the cardiovascular responses to the infusion of vasoactive agents in unanesthetized rats.
