During the synthesis, GO was used as a stabiliser, preventing the collapse of the 3D structure and improving its properties in terms of capacitance and surface area.

Here, double‐vacancy halide perovskites (Cs2PtX6, X = Cl, Br) act as photoactive precursors for the in‐situ formation of ultrasmall (< 3 nm) platinum nanoparticles under simulated sunlight at room temperature.
