Design of dual‐band bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2014ABSTRACTA dual‐band bandpass filter using split‐ring resonators (SRRs) and defected ground structure (DGS) with constant absolute bandwidth is proposed in this article. The inner and outer SRRs are operated for respective passband. DGS is etched on the ground, which can control the coupling coefficient of the filter to maintain constant absolute ...

A planar vertically-integrated tunable filter/antenna with constant absolute bandwidth
2017 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), 2017This paper presents a vertically-integrated second-order tunable planar filter/antenna that expands upon previous work with tunable filter/antennas. This work demonstrates the use of a radiating element as a resonator in the filter and uses mixed electric and magnetic coupling to achieve a constant absolute bandwidth over the filter tuning range ...

VHF Discrete-Tuned Filters With Constant Insertion Loss and Absolute Bandwidth
2019 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2019These instructions give you basic guidelines for preparing papers for conference proceedings. This letter presents a novel two-pole tunable bandpass filter with constant insertion loss and absolute bandwidth designed for 30-90 MHz operation. The centre frequency and inter-stage coupling are synchronously discrete-tuned by connecting PIN switched ...

Constant absolute bandwidth tunable filter using varactor‐loaded open‐loop resonators
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2014AbstractTwo novel cascaded microstrip open‐loop resonators with loading varactors are presented to design tunable filter. In two coupled resonators, the coupled sides can provide both electrical and magnetic coupling. A capacitance loaded at input/output feed line is used to control the external quality. By adjusting the parameters of coupling side and

Varactor-tuned superconducting filter with constant absolute bandwidth at VHF-band
Physica C: Superconductivity and its Applications, 2015Abstract A four-pole superconducting tunable filter at VHF-band with constant absolute bandwidth is proposed. The resonator consists of a spiral-in-spiral-out (SISO) resonator with one end shorted to ground and the other end loaded with a varactor diode.

Reconfigurable Differential Filter With Constant Absolute Bandwidth and High Common-Mode Suppression
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2018A reconfigurable differential filter with constant absolute bandwidth (ABW) and high common mode (CM) suppression is proposed in this letter. The design is aiming to achieve the constant ABW under the differential mode (DM) by choosing the loading place of the varactors on the resonators and adjusting the external quality factor.

A Fourth Order Constant Absolute Bandwidth Tunable Bandpass Filter with Cross-Coupling
2019 IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS), 2019A cross-coupled tunable filter with constant absolute bandwidth (CABW) is proposed in this paper. Coupling matrix is used to calculate the coupling coefficient of the tunable filter. Varactor-loaded resonator with separate electric dominant and magnetic dominant coupling region is employed to realize the cross-coupled topology.

Design of tunable bandpass filter using PIN diode with constant absolute bandwidth
2013 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings (APMC), 2013This paper presents a tunable bandpass filter (BPF) for cognitive radio applications. The proposed two-pole BPF is implemented using lumped elements and the frequency tuning is realized by PIN diodes. Due to the L-C parallel circuit J-inverter, constant absolute bandwidth is achieved.

Design of a six-pole tunable band-pass filter with constant absolute bandwidth
2016 Progress in Electromagnetic Research Symposium (PIERS), 2016This paper presents the design and implementation of a tunable bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth. Two types of coupled microstrip lines in the anti-parallel and pro-parallel formats with varactor-loaded ⋋/2 resonators are investigated to demonstrate its advanced capacity in control of the bandwidth variation. In this design, two adjacent
