ADOS-CFAR Algorithm for Multibeam Seafloor Terrain Detection

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2016
To solve the false terrain problem caused by the tunnel effect in the conventional multibeam seafloor terrain detection, a detection method of multibeam seafloor terrain based on the ADOS-CFAR (Amplitude Dichotomy Order-Statistics Constant False Alarm ...

Research on a New Comprehensive CFAR (Comp-CFAR) Processing Method

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Since the clutter statistics of marine radar are non-stationary and difficult to ascertain, the constant false-alarm rate (CFAR) processor based on some clutter statistical characteristics is hard to obtain the CFAR performance.

Detecting flying objects in synthetic aperture radar images using Moving Target Indicator methods

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 19, Issue 1, January/December 2025.
This paper presents a moving target indicator detection method (MTI) for detecting planes during take‐off in synthetic aperture radar data, and a theoretical ground‐clutter suppression method via cross‐track interferometry to detect airborne targets. The MTI method combines interferometric processing, acceleration compensation, and autofocus techniques.

Serial acquisition of ds-cdma signals using smart antennas and adaptive thresholding constant false alarm rate processing

open access: yes, 2007
This paper proposes an adaptive pseudonoise (PN) code acquisition system that adopts smart antennas and a cell averaging constant false alarm rate (CA-CFAR) processor to achieve reliable PN code acquisition in the presence of fading and interference ...

Rao and Wald Tests for Adaptive Detection in Partially Homogeneous Environment with a Diversely Polarized Antenna

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2013
This study considers Rao test and Wald test for adaptive detection based on a diversely polarized antenna (DPA) in partially homogeneous environment. The theoretical expressions for the probability of false alarm and detection are derived, and constant ...

Induction machine faults detection based on a constant false alarm rate detector

open access: yes, 2016
International audienceThis paper proposes a new method for fault detection in three-phase induction machines based on the stator current measurements. The proposed detection method is based on the hypothesis testing. Specifically, this paper investigates
