Highly Conductive Networks Encapsulated Borohydride Electrolytes Enabling Superior High Rate Performance for All‐Solid‐State Li‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A nanoscale ZrB2/LiCl network encapsulated LiBH4 solid electrolyte was prepared by mechanically reacting LiBH4 with ZrCl4. Such a composite solid electrolyte exhibits fast ionic conduction and high critical current density. More importantly, the resultant solid electrolyte enables unprecedented cyclability of Li|LiNbO3@LiCoO2 and Li|TiS2 full cells at ...

Magneto‐Electrochemical Effect on La‐Doped GaFeO3 as a Supercapacitor Electrode for Energy Storage

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
The electrochemical performance of La‐doped Gallium Ferrite (La‐doped GaFeO3 ${\text{GaFeO}}_{3}$) synthesizes via a conventional solid‐state reaction method; this has been studied by the application of an external magnetic fields. ABSTRACT The electrochemical performance of La‐doped GaFeO3 ${\text{GaFeO}}_{3}$ synthesizes via a conventional solid ...

Catalytic Pyrolysis of Torrefied Municipal Solid Waste Using Local Iron for Improved Bio‐Oil Yield and Energy Efficiency

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Catalytic Pyrolysis of Torrefied Municipal Solid Waste to sustainable bio‐oil. ABSTRACT South Africa faces growing municipal solid waste (MSW) accumulation and energy insecurity due to fossil fuel dependence. Torrefaction improves MSW for waste‐to‐energy use, while conventional pyrolysis produces low‐quality oxygen‐rich bio‐oil.
