Supply‐Chain‐Ready 915 MHz Radio‐Frequency Identification Meander Dipole

open access: yesIET Science, Measurement &Technology, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents a physics‐aware, ML‐assisted optimization framework for benchmarking printable UHF RFID meandered dipoles within the heavily regulated 902–928 MHz corridor. Evaluated against standard solver baselines under a strict computational budget, the proposed methodology explicitly enforces a zero‐leakage spectral mask to prevent regulatory ...

When the Home Becomes the Setting for Hospital Treatment: A Qualitative Study of Relatives' Experiences

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Nursing, Volume 82, Issue 1, Page 567-579, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim The aim of the study is to explore the experiences of adult relatives who cohabit with patients receiving hospital‐at‐home (HaH) care. The healthcare system is increasingly adopting HaH as a response to hospital overcrowding and the growing need for personalised, home‐based care.

Pentesting LLM Models With an Automated Framework

open access: yesInternational Journal of Intelligent Systems, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an essential tool in modern cybersecurity, enabling faster and more accurate detection, prevention, and response to threats. Within this landscape, large language models (LLMs) have emerged as versatile systems capable of generating code, providing technical guidance, and automating complex tasks.

Employing the Inverse Weibull Failure Time Model to Estimate Some of the Reliability Metrics of k‐Out‐of‐n Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper presents a new approach to determine the mean time to system failure (MTSF) and reliability function of k‐out‐of‐n systems with independent and identically distributed components following the inverse Weibull (IW) distribution. The system remains operational when at least k of its n components function properly.

Construction and Optimization of a Cost Function in a Single‐Server Multiphase Queueing System With Hypoexponential‐k Customer Service Time

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, a new generalized cost function construction for a single‐server multiphase queueing system with a Poisson input stream, hypoexponential‐k customer service time, and FIFO discipline is presented. A proposed relationship between service parameters in k phases is based on a geometric progression with rate α, 0 < α < 1.

Simulating a Quantum Switch With Concurrent Demands

open access: yesConcurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Volume 37, Issue 27-28, 25 December 2025.
ABSTRACT Quantum networks rely on entanglement distribution to enable secure communication and distributed quantum computation. Most analytical models address idealized, single‐flow scenarios and overlook the impact of concurrent entanglement requests, limiting their applicability to realistic network conditions.
