Spinal Anaesthesia in Ambulatory Surgery: Dose-Response Characteristics of Constant Volume Bupivacaine

open access: yesIndian Journal of Anaesthesia, 2008
Use of spinal anaesthesia is gradually increasing in ambulatory setting. With the continuing controversy over the use of lidocaine for spinal anaesthesia, other local anaesthetics are being explored to achieve reliable spinal anaesthesia with rapid ...

Anti‐CD19 CAR T Cells in Autoimmune Encephalitis: Inflammation Controlled, Neurodegeneration Unchecked?

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Just recently, successful chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy was reported in the first patient with refractory, anti‐diacylglycerol lipase alpha (DAGLA) antibody‐mediated autoimmune encephalitis, achieving partial clinical remission.

Constant volume friction angle of granular materials

open access: yes, 1986
The postulate that the constant volume friction angle Φ[sub cv] of a granular material is unique is verified experimentally. The constant volume friction angle of a wide spectrum of granular granular materials is measured using the ring shear device ...

Computer Program for Constant Pressure or Constant Volume Combustion Calculations in Hydrocarbon-Air Systems

open access: yes, 1977
A complete Fortran-II computer program is presented which can be used to compute the equilibrium composition and final state of the products after constant pressure or constant volume combustion in any hydrocarbon-air system.

Sex‐Stratified Association of Regional Dopamine Transporter Binding With Disease Progression in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To clarify the clinical relevance of dopamine transporter single‐photon emission computed tomography (DAT‐SPECT) abnormalities in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), with a prespecified focus on sex‐stratified associations with disease progression and short‐term prognosis.

Revisiting Stability Criteria in Ball‐Milled High‐Entropy Alloys: Do Hume–Rothery and Thermodynamic Rules Equally Apply?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Distribution of adhesion rate constant in the coal sample [PDF]

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2005
Flotation is the process of enrichment which consists in differentiating the useful component (volume property) in the separation products. Flotation leads to the differentiation of the volume property by means of applying the differentiation of surface ...
