Tuberculous constrictive pericarditis
Constrictive pericarditis is characterized by constriction of the heart secondary to pericardial inflammation. Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is useful imaging modality for addressing the challenges of confirming this diagnosis. It can be used to exclude other causes of right heart failure, such as pulmonary hypertension or myocardial ...

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Reconfigurable Three‐Dimensional Superconducting Nanoarchitectures
3D superconducting nanostructures offer new possibilities for emergent physical phenomena. However, fabricating complex geometries remains challenging. Here 3D nanoprinting of complex 3D superconducting nanoarchitectures is established. As well as propagating superconducting vortices in 3D, anisotropic superconducting properties with geometric ...

Electron transport through a circular constriction
We calculate the conductance of a circular constriction of radius $a$ in an insulating diaphragm which separates two conducting half-spaces characterized by the mean free path $\ell$.

Enhancement of polarization in a spin-orbit coupling quantum wire with a constriction [PDF]
We investigate the enhancement of spin polarization in a quantum wire in the presence of a constriction and a spin-orbit coupling segment. It is shown that the spin-filtering effect is significantly heightened in comparison with the configuration without

Selective Benzene Capture by Metal‐Organic Frameworks
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) hold significant potential for capturing benzene from air emissions and hydrocarbon mixtures in liquid phases. This capability stems from their precisely engineered structures, versatile chemistries, and diverse binding interactions.

Superconducting Quantum Point contacts and Maxwell Potential
The quantization of the current in a superconducting quantum point contact is reviewed and the critical current is discussed at different temperatures depending on the carrier concentration as well by suggesting a constant potential in the semiconductor ...

Tuberculous constrictive pericarditis [PDF]
A previously healthy 53-year-old Brazilian man presented with a 3-month history of anasarca, dyspnoea on minimal exertion, orthopnoea, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnoea, low-grade fever and an unintentional 12 kg weight loss. No prior medical condition was related.
