Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Assessing the hazard of death, cardiac tamponade, and pericardial constriction among HIV and tuberculosis pericarditis patients using the extended Cox‐hazard model: Intervention study

open access: yesHealth Science Reports
Background and Aims Tuberculous (TB) pericarditis (TBP), a TB of the heart, is linked to significant morbidity and mortality rates. Administering glucocorticoid therapy to individuals with TBP might enhance overall results and lower the likelihood of ...

Oral Dosed Organo‐Silica Nanoparticles Restore Glucose Homeostasis and β‐Cell Function in Diabetes Rats

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An oral nanoplatform, MOP@T@D, which can maintain glucose homeostasis and restore islet β cells in diabetic rats is developed. It achieves efficient intestinal absorption and liver‐targeted delivery. The nanoparticle disintegrates only in response to hyperglycemia to release insulin on demand and provides antioxidant protection through selenoprotein ...

Advancements in Peripheral Nerve Injury Research Using Lab Animals

open access: yesAnatomia
Peripheral nerve injuries (PNIs) commonly result from trauma, compression, or iatrogenic causes, leading to functional deficits. Despite the peripheral nervous system’s regenerative capacity, current treatments yield inconsistent outcomes.

Mechanotransducing Organic Electrochemical Diode for Crosstalk‐Inhibited Artificial Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An innovative approach is presented to a stretchable mechanotransducing diode that unifies rectification and tactile‐sensing functionality. This approach enables to fabricate the diode that maintains a large rectification ratio (5 × 102) at a high operational frequency (100 Hz).

A method of scoring automated visual fields to determine field constriction causing blindness

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology, 1998
Blindness is usually defined by visual acuity criteria. Patients with markedly constricted visual fields are visually impaired even if they have good visual acuity.
