Improvement in strength calculation for pavement structure of rail station areas

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
The paper discusses the issue of how to increase the durability of road pavements at stations. At the same time, the behavior of asphalt-concrete layers is considered taking into account thermoreological properties and their materials.

Effect of citric-acid-modified chitosan (CAMC) on hydration kinetics of tricalcium silicate (C3S)

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2022
Studying the mechanism by which organic admixtures affect the hydration and dissolution of tricalcium silicate (C3S) reveals the effect of organic admixtures on ordinary Portland cement and enables target regulation of cement-based materials.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
