Is photovoltaic power a cost-effective energy solution for rural peoples in western Sudan? [PDF]
Sudan like most poor countries suffers from a deficiency in the supply of electrical power, especially for rural areas. Less than 10% of the total population, can benefit from the national grid connection.

Nature‐Inspired Sustainable Cooling for Photovoltaics with Enhanced Temperature‐Salinity Dynamics
Addressing solar panel overheating, a nature‐inspired cooling system mimicking ocean currents is developed. A moisture‐absorbing solution layer uses sunlight, radiative cooling, and moisture processes to create temperature/salinity gradients, accelerating circulation. The prototype cools panels by up to 18.2 °C under sunlight, sustains cooling, rapidly

Reevaluating the Activity of ZIF‐8 Based FeNCs for Electrochemical Ammonia Production
Though receiving much attention, the field of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) to ammonia is marked by doubts about whether this reaction is possible in aqueous media. This work sheds light on this question for iron single‐atom on N‐doped carbon (FeNC) catalysts—a class of well‐known catalysts that is also worth testing for the sister

Community-based micro grids: a common property resource problem [PDF]
This paper introduces a new methodological and theoretical foundation for studying the reasons for successes and failures of community-based micro grids (CBMGs). While technical and financial factors involved are very critical they are comparatively well

Long range polarization attraction between two different likely charged macroions
It is known that in a water solution with multivalent counterions (Z-ions), two likely charged macroions can attract each other due to correlations of Z-ions adsorbed on their surfaces.

This review explores functional and responsive materials for triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) in sustainable smart agriculture. It examines how particulate contamination and dirt affect charge transfer and efficiency. Environmental challenges and strategies to enhance durability and responsiveness are outlined, including active functional layers ...

This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.
