Electrochemical Behavior and Hydrophobic Properties of CrN and CrNiN Coatings in Simulated Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Environment

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2016
The CrN and CrNiN coatings were prepared on the surface of 304 stainless steel by closed field unbalanced magnetron sputtering.X ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the structure and morphology of the

On-Line Remaining Useful Life Estimation of Power Connectors Focused on Predictive Maintenance

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Connections are critical elements in power systems, exhibiting higher failure probability. Power connectors are considered secondary simple devices in power systems despite their key role, since a failure in one such element can lead to major issues ...

Dielectrophoretic Assembly of Graphene and Electrical Characterization

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2017
Integrating graphene into micro-and nano-devices is a critical step for its application in many fields. Graphene-a type of two-dimensional nanomaterials was assembled by dielectrophoresis(DEP) and the influence of the DEP process parameters including the

Self-Heating of Annealed Ti/Al/Ni/Au Contacts to Two-Dimensional Electron Gas in AlGaN/GaN Heterostructures

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
In this work, we investigated the self-heating effects of annealed Ti/Al/Ni/Au ohmic contacts and two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in AlGaN/GaN heterostructures under strong electric field by using the short pulse current–voltage and microwave noise ...

Effects of Source/Drain Electrodes on the Performance of InSnO Thin-Film Transistors

open access: yesMicromachines, 2022
Oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) are of increasing interest in the field of advanced displays. In this work, we explore Al, InSnO (ITO), Ti, and Mo as source/drain electrodes of ITO TFTs.

Formation and investigation of characteristics of thermoresistive structures based on vanadium oxide films

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2021
The processes of reactive magnetron sputtering of a V target in Ar/O2 gas mixture are investigated. It was found that when using a pulsed current for sputtering and a pressure in the chamber less than 0.06 Pa, the intensities of the emission lines of ...

Determining Parental Factors for Clinical Trial Attrition in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Despite high enrollment rates on Children's Oncology Group (COG) protocols, attrition after initial consent is challenging, introducing bias and prolonging trial completion. While adult oncology literature has identified predictors of withdrawal, little is known about caregiver decision‐making for child participation in ...

Mathematical Model Predicting the Heat and Power Dissipated in an Electro-Conductive Contact in a Hybrid Woven Fabric

open access: yesAUTEX Research Journal, 2020
Electro-conductive (EC) yarns can be woven into a hybrid fabric to enable electrical current to flow through the fabric from one component A to another component B. These hybrid fabrics form the bases of woven e-textiles.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
